MONSIEUR SPOON

Looking for breakfast, lunch or coffee and pastry to go? Monsieur Spoon has you covered. With locations all over Bali, friendly staff and a fresh pastry option for everyone’s taste, this French bakery café is not to be missed.

REVOLVER ESPRESSO

The best coffee we had in Seminyak was at Revolver Espresso. Not only did the coffee hit the spot, but the food was delicious, the staff were friendly, and the alleyway entrance with a doorman greeting you like an exclusive club just tops off the whole experience.

If you’re going for breakfast, we recommend getting there early to avoid lining up.

EXPO ARTSPACE & COFFEE

Another place in Seminyak for great coffee is Expo Artspace & Coffee. This café opens at 6:30 am, which is earlier than most places in the area. The coffee is delicious and reasonably priced, and the baristas are very friendly. The menu is limited, with a few cereals and a small selection of snacks. However, Expo is not just a café. It also has a fantastic selection of artwork to browse, and maybe purchase, while you enjoy your morning coffee.

KYND COMMUNITY

Vegan café Kynd Community is a Bali institution you may have already seen on social media. Their picturesque venue in Seminyak is famous for fresh juices, burgers, salads and the frequently photographed smoothie bowls. However, it’s not just about the neon sign and pink mural wall ready for Instagram pictures. They boast a plant-based menu with a range of affordable options, a great drinks list and delicious gelato.

WARUNG DEDALU

For great local Indonesian food, look no further than Warung Dedalu. It may be easy to walk past this place to one of the more glamorous international food restaurants, but you would be missing out. The food is packed with flavour, served in large portions and at a very affordable price, with most main meals costing around 35K to 40K IDR. The service is excellent, and the atmosphere is laid-back and quiet, despite being located on a busy road.

The fried beef noodles were an obvious choice, but if you are up for a bit more spice, try the Ayam Bakar.

MOTEL MEXICOLA

With a reputation for being one of Seminyak's best bars and restaurants, you can't leave before trying Motel Mexicola. The bar is a bright, colourful delight, but most importantly, the cocktail menu is full of refreshing and tasty options, and the food is delicious. This place is a bit pricey for Bali, but you don’t come here for budget; you come for the live music, exciting atmosphere, great cocktails and delicious Mexican food.

SEA CIRCUS RESTAURANT & BAR

Sea Circus Restaurant & Bar sets an excellent first impression with their beautiful, colourful mural outside and the artwork indoors by artist Justine Missen. This is followed by the friendly smiles of the staff and the gelato fridge full of tasty options. The menu has a great range of food options at fairly average prices for Seminyak.

LA PLANCHA

Along Seminyak Beach, there are many bar options to choose from. If you want to experience the bar that inspired all others surrounding it, then look for the most crowded set of rainbow beanbags, umbrellas and flags. Here, you will find La Plancha. Don’t be deterred by the crowds though; it is busy for a good reason. The staff are friendly and efficient and will find you a seat on the sand or inside the beach shack. The drinks are refreshing, the food menu offers plenty of options, and the sunset over the sea of rainbow is a beautiful sight to see.

MANO BEACH HOUSE

Mano Beach House is located on Petitenget Beach, just behind the giant swings. This beach club is popular but feels more laid back than other clubs in Seminyak. The food is high quality and delicious, but just like all beach clubs, it is pricey. You can find many cheaper options, but if you are happy to spend a little more, Mano Beach House is made for a very relaxing afternoon and evening.
